I thought the one-day film school was a great opportunity for the year group to have fun and build teamwork between us. A big thank you to all of the organisers and to all the teachers and staff that helped us produce our films. I thought that the one-day film school was very fun and imaginative. I really enjoyed the visit we had from the one day film school. The brilliant helpers taught how to throw a punch realistically but safely which was very cool. We learned the necessary stage directions to make a short film for example, quiet on set and cameras rolling. The movies were really fantastic and the people from the one day film school really helped me learn how to make a film on IMOVIe and how to edit one. The day was really fun and I think I would definitely want to come back to do another day of the one day film school.
The One-day film school was one of the best things I have ever attended. it was fun exciting and interactive. we learnt many new skills and had an interesting time making the films. I really enjoyed working as a group and using different apps and techniques to make amazing films in very short periods of time. just in general it was also a good social activity since we were working with people we did not necessarily get on with making it an even better experience. it was excellent since we got to roam around the school freely and use all the new skills we learnt. watching other people’s films was the best part since so many people had done there films so well in such a short space of time. I would like to say a huge thank you to our outstanding film teachers ed and Simon who were simply amazing in the way they thought and showed everything to us. They really showed us how good filming is and the real fun and drama of it. The experience was definitely 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. also, a big thank you to all the other members of staff at young film academy and at Whitgift school who helped this great day happen. It WILL DEFINITELY STICK WITH ME FOR A LONG TIME AND HAS SO FAR SURELY BEEN THE BEST HIGHLIGHT OF YEAR 6 AT WHITGIFT. It was truly amazing and will definitely be an experience you couldn’t forget. The day was filled with fun activities with lots of learning opportunities and it was amazing to learn the different shots and play the different roles. I really liked the software and the app for editing. They taught us like we had a whole 24 hours to do it and we had everything done on time. It was a really fun experience and I hope I can do this again.
I had a superb time. It was lovely. The staff were supportive and energetic. They were very interactive. I had a blast. They helped me with the fundamentals of filming and it really inspired me. This is definitely one of the best activities I have done so far. This is a one in a life time opportunity and I definitely encourage others to try. I really want to be a director after this presentation. Thank you for all of your support.

Everyone loved making their movies and there was lots of suspense when the Oscars where being nominated. It was a really cool workshop which I feel like I have learnt so many new things from it and was a really good day to learn more about how the best movies are made and even though the weather didn’t agree with helping us, it felt really good to hold the Oscars. I learnt so many things that I can use in the future like; how to edit, that each bits in a fight are added in and that there are multiple angles when filming which can add extra points to your movie. I think it was a really well planned and educational day. A thank you to Mr Powell and Mrs Saer for organising it and to the 1 day film school for the brilliant and unforgettable experience. Wow, what a day, I am so happy that I was able to experience such a one in a life time day. I learnt how to fake fight and create a professional movie. I would love to do this again. I really enjoyed the one day film school and thank you to Simon and ed for showing us how to film and how to make fake punches! I also loved how we could express our creativity and run around the school filming our movie. I was disappointed that I didn’t win the Oscar but it was fun watching everyone’s masterpieces. There should be more opportunities to do things like this! It was so so fun! It needed lots of teamwork (and there was a few arguments) but we managed to work together and make an amazing movie.

I loved that we were put into random groups as this helped us to build relationships and freinds. I loved all the fake fighting and watching clips from films it felt like i was lost in another world. I honestly without a doubt think I would love to be a professional director after this incredible one day. Very fun day. I really enjoyed having an entire day to film, plan and edit. I learned some fun skills that I hope to use in future films I hope for a day like this in the future
The One day film schools was a very fun experience for me, although we didn’t learn the Oscars, I believe that my group at least all learnt something knew, such as learning how to edit and take different angles of different moments. It was thrilling to put together our movies, sharing ideas and building on our teambuilding skills. I would also like to thank all the amazing staff who helped out the entire day.

The One day film schools was a very fun experience for me, although we didn’t learn the Oscars, I believe that my group at least all learnt something knew, such as learning how to edit and take different angles of different moments. It was thrilling to put together our movies, sharing ideas and building on our teambuilding skills. I would also like to thank all the amazing staff who helped out the entire day.
Thank you all I had a really good time at film day I want to thank all the people who helped set it up including MR Powel and Miss Siere. Overall i think the day was fantastic and everyone including me had a great time. I hope for another day like this.

The experience was really fun and it actually helped me understand how actors act in real films and i might use the advice that the wise insructors gave me to make videos in future and it will help me so thank you whitgift for planning this wonderfull adventure.
